AVAST secureline VPN for MAC, avtivated. does not just work!

Hi,

I run macOS 10.12.3 and the avastslvpn is 2.1.4(47288).
I have actually never been to connect to the server post activation, the trial worked just fine…

I have already tried, uninstall-restart-install multiple times.

A quick help would be appreciated!

I had used a 7 day trial last year… It worked fine… I got myself a 2 years license in October 2016, and the avastslvpn shows activated with the licesne.
But post activation I have never been able to connect…

It just says “VPN server could not be found…”

Please let me know if you need any more details…

Unfortunately, we had a bug in the product since the last year’s summer that the client could loose the license information if the communication between the application processes took too long. When we have realized this the last week we have tried to restore the licenses at least on a portion of the clients.

With each purchase there was sent a confirmation email with an activation code that can be inserted in the application’s preferences.

I have an up to date MAC and run Avast antivirus - and previously ran a successful trial of VPN software. Purchased yesterday from email offer. Receive licence file to download after purchase - however software only has space for activation code and licence file will not launch with the VPN software.

Impossible to find a non-paying support contact - I am only asking for what I paid for.
