Since WireGuard was installed on 11 June, I haven’t been able to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Does anyone know a fix, please?

You still have this problem, because I tested it here and there was no problem at all.
Could you be more specific about what didn’t work in the browsers? Does the page not load? Or does it load with an error?
Chrome and Edge didn’t load at all unless I ran them as administrator. I just checked and even that doesn’t work any more.

To try to help you and test it, do the following.
1 - Open Avast SecureLine VPN.
2 - Go to Settings > VPN > Protocol.
3 - Change from WireGuard to OpenVPN.
4 - Disconnect and reconnect the VPN.
5 - Test the browser.
Thank you for helping. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall Avast as things had deteriorated even further - I couldn’t open anything to do with Microsoft 365. So, having uninstalled Avast, I still can’t open Google Chrome, so I suspect Avast had nothing to do with it…
