When checking My Devices - Security Info - it shows that Real-Time Shields and Virus Definitions Updates are OFF.

If it is Windows telling you, it is a well know bug in windows.
Reset the security/action center.

Please use the search option before posting.
This has been explained many times already.

It is happening a lot. My Devices also showing shields Off. It is being investigating according to OndraM.

No, MS must fix the bug. avast is not a fault if the security center/action center reports it wrong. And it is not likely they will fix it soon since the bug has been there since the first version of XP.

@Eddy. Yes there is the issue of MS and Windows Security Center, but the OP is talking about " My devices " in the avast! UI that shows Shield Off or Deactivated.

Yesterday when I checked the GUI gave misleading information.
But the my(dot)avast(dot)com account gave the correct information.
The glitch seems to be in the GUI.

Exactly. I have check several systems ( XP, Vista, Win 7 and 8.1 ) and all are OK in WSC and the avast! Account, but in the UI all say that no VPS received and Shields Off

The OP is talking about My Devices in the AvastUI, not what windows reports. Read his first post again.

This is an avast! problem which has already been acknowledged by Avast and is being worked on.
Hopefull it will be resolved quickly.

I AM EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING OF SHIELDS ARE TURNED OFF N A uknown whats happening i done reapir updated rebooting my computer still it is AVAST unresolved issue it is not anybody computer but a GLITCH from avast i even renewed my status for re registered still it is AVAST Glitch

As already stated, it’s a known issue and something Avast will fix. Don’t get all excited over a software glitch. You are safe.
