I tried to reinstall Avast Premium on MAC but software keeps telling me that Avast is already installed. I have uninstalled using the Avast software and restarted my MAC but still can’t get any further. There is no Avast in the Applications folder - what next?
Now fixed by reference to other posts in this forum!

- how did you get into the situation. Did you used Avast Uninstaller or other way to get rid off the product?
- how did you solved the situation?
My reasons for asking are that your experience will help other users with similar problems. And it may help us (product creators) to understand how it could happen

Indeed, it would be nice to have mgallani feedback.
A member of the French forum seems to have the same problem: he can’t install avast because he can’t uninstall the old version that appears to be already installed.
