Avast.setup detected as Trojan

I have received the following alert from Sygate Firewall:

Trojan Horse “IntrusePack 1.27b” detected in avast.setup
process id 4294311627.

I have used Sygate alongside Avast for some time with no issues. This alert just popped up today.

Is this a false alarm or could avast.setup have been infected?

It is a false alarm.

This is a false alarm - it has been discussed here in the past.
