hello, after my pc has been running for over 12 hours it becomes a bit slow and I notice avast setup32 is using around 60% cpu?
A reboot stops this. avast is updating itself and seems fine unless I leave the pc on over night while downloading games.
Is this a known issue? google takes me back to 2007 with this issue and nothing since?

please consider the normal way how avast is working: it is checking the data stream in several moments - when data is downoaded while coming in, when program is startetd before start process etc. … that data stream checking takes cpu-resouces - that’s just normal, but does not really disturb while normally working.
