Avast! Should work on less the number of false alarms
They are constantly working on it as has been explained many times.
I rather have a false positive then something not detected.
But not show in real world.Virus Definitions number goes down every day why???now only 3,940,114.1 day ago it was 3,946,XXX.No FP Definitions.So why this happened?
The data base is compacted as malware is determined to be part of the same family. So rather than three or four different names it becomes one.
As for false positives I cannot remember the last time I had one

What’s funny is you still haven’t realised it’s streaming, not " steaming " ;D
No problem here with streaming updates, they all happen in the background so I don’t even notice.
