Avast showing unknown devices but they're not in my Router's page?

Hello everyone!

Few weeks ago I purchased my first license and while I was scanning everything, I noticed something odd.
Avast was showing me two or three unkown devices, so my first thought was “well okay, let’s go to the router’s page and not only kick these devices but change the password too”, so when I was in the page where all linked devices were, there was only my computer and phone (both already recognized by Avast). No signal of unknown devices. I ended up changing the password anyway and ran another scan of devices, and there were the two or three assholes.
To sum up, avast was showing 4 devices, two are mine and two are unknown, but when going to the router’s page, there are only the two known devices.

What the heck is happening here?

Thanks in advance!

Hi
im no expert when it comes to networks or ip addresses so this is just a guess but i dont think you have anything to worry about.
im guessing one of my unknowns is my android mobile which normally does show up as one plus 8T

Do you have others living in the house that connect to your wifi. they could be anything that youve previously connected to your network. do you run a vpn as well or got vpn extentions on your web brouser. im guessing things like alexa will also show in the list.

best wait for one of the experts to reply who know what they are talking about but thought it worth mentioning your not alone with the unknowns

I have the same problem. One I found was the new TCL TV (it’s not connected to my computer). It runs off the FIOS network and my system does show the FIOS Router (the name I gave when I installed it).

Another is my new DVD/CD external drive.

What is annoying me is AVAST allowed a new network connection:
Cloud Network Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd

My research found the company has many site (Singapore can be Taiwan, Guam anything in the Pacific Ocean).
The company owns lots of different products used by many electronic devices. These devices (internal
components) are actively tracked.

What I would like AVAST to do is allow us to prevent and/or remove these networks from our systems. Better yet, Let us (the user of Avast) decide if we want the new network connection to be approved!
