Avast software updater not showing update to IE 11

Hi
I ran avast software updater, informed that there is a update for IE 11.Clicked on update nothing happens.
Went and checked IE 11 I have version 11.306.10586.0 . Avast is saying I have version 11.100.14279.0 so appears it is not seeing update.

Same on my wife’s computer.
Both computers WIN 10 Pro 64 bit

KB3154070 is the latest Cumulative Security Update for IE11 in Windows 7.

Another problem with software updater… I clicked on enable but…see screenshot. How can I fix this?

A repair fixed it.

It looks like IE 11.0.9600.18321 is the latest version for Windows 8.1 while IE 11.0.9600.18314 is the latest version for Windows 7,
so please fix this.

I can confirm the same Situation here on my Windows 7 Laptop.

But todays VPS Update didn’t solve this issue yet. The false update for my IE11 is still listed.

Good morning Avast Team! This same problem about avast software update not showing update to IE11 came back again. I am using the latest stable version of Avast Free (as stated on my signature) and my IE11 version is also up-to-date (as stated on my signature). My OS is Windows 7 SP1 (fully updated). My streaming update is currently on and my VPS version is 160611-1. Refer to my attachment. Please fix this issue. Thanks.

I have same issue with this, does this about Internet Explorer image for my version of I.E11 look correct?

It shows everything is up to date on my win 10 computers but on my win 7 it shows both IE 11 and Firefox aren’t up to date. I updated Firefox yesterday but it still shows it’s not up to date.

The attachment is Win 10.

I can confirm the same after doing a refresh, now showing as up-to-date. :slight_smile:

The issue seems to be resolved. Since today IE on my Windows 7 machine is shown as up-to-date again. Thanks.

If you are running Windows 10 Home, you’ll get this version of I.E. 11: (just updated via MS Updates) Avast Sofware Updater is showing all up-to-date.

TBH, avast software updater is an useful tool in updating non-Windows software, but others are available to complement it: https://patchmypc.net/

2016-08-16 The same problem happening to all of our computers. Everything is up to date yet Avast still says an update for IE is needed, click “update” and nothing happens. MS says IE is already up to date.

Exactly the same here!!! Today I’ve updated my AIS installation to the newest build (12.3.2279). I’m running Win 10 Home version 1607 build 14393.51 and IE version is 11.51.14393.0. No updates are available for IE 11 in Win 10 via MS. Hey Avast, please fix this issue because the AIS mentioned version of IE (11.494.10586.0) isn’t the current version that will be shipped via Windows 10 1607 “Anniversary Update”. The “10586” inside the AIS mentioned version indicates a Win 10 version 1511 from November last year. As I remember we had the same issue at the release of AIS build 2276 at the end of last month.
