Today Avast blocked some of my Steam games claiming it found Win32:Evo-gen [Susp]. He keeps sending their EXEs to quarantine and even putting them in the exclusion list and redownloading, he keeps blocking them. Apparently he’s targeting some MumboJumbo games, especiallly the first Luxor games. Can’t find the quarantine in this last version of Avast too to try to recover the games.
Please open Avast! GUI (double click Avast! icon on your desktop or a single left click on Avast! icon within the notification area which is at the bottom right corner of the desktop).
Next, select ‘Scan’ → ‘Quarantine(Virus Chest)’.
After which, right click the files within Virus Chest, select ‘Submit to virus lab’.
Fill in the details to submit the false positive.
Lastly, if you want to exclude the games from Avast! without waiting for the false positive to be fixed, right click the files and select ‘Restore and add to exclusions’.
Please ensure that those files are downloaded from the official Steam website.
Sended the files, but even adding the files to the exclusion list Avast keeps blocking their exes (if I try to redownload he blocks during this process, if I restore the quarantined file he blocks when I try to run the game)
