i did not downloaded whole avast software. i already got avast software so i just installed it and then i downloaded update file…

i again installed ais as i said u before…let me see if it again gives me error…

i will post again here if it gives me error again.

today again avast stopped all sheilds…i dont know why it again happened…when i try to open avast then it makes my pc hang… i can open any software at that time but if i click avast it makes my pc hang…what is wrong?

You state that you formatted your pc. Did you use the recovery disc to do this? Wasn’t there an OEM antivirus/security suite installed at this time? Such as Norton or McAfee? If there was, did you uninstall it properly? Please doublecheck this in add/remove programs (XP) or programs and features (Windows 7).

i did not installed any other av before formatting pc…

i only have avast before… i did not used any recovery disc…i did full format…yes i done fully uninstalled it…

if that problem occurs then i restart my pc 1 or 2 times then it fixes my problem and all sheilds works properly…

Just to make sure that malware (infection) is not causing your problems:

Have you run any Avast scans to check for malware?

  • If so, which scans and is anything in the Virus Chest.
  • If you did not run any scans, please run a Quick scan and a Boot scan and report back.

If you also have MBAM (Malwarebytes) or SAS (SuperAntivirusSpyware), then run a scan as well and quarantine any infection that comes up.

  • Cut and paste the log to your next post. We’ve been through this before, so you should remember the procedure, but let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

how can i get malware after formatting pc?

i immediately installed avast before surfing, connecting to internet.

i done full system scan and no virus found.

in morning when i switched on my pc,it showed my pc is unsecure…what wrong with avast?m really pissed off from this problem… formatting my pc also does not clears my problem. i cant fix the problem if i try to enable all sheilds… nothing changes… i m having problem with avast only… i tried panda and comodo… noth working good with no errors…

seems like i need to leave avast… but i dont want that :-\

any suggestions about this problem?
