Avast symbol disappeared in tray at bottom of screen

I noticed today that the spinning Avast symbol had disappeared from the icons at the right bottom of the screen. I don’t know why it was gone, & the only way I got it back, was to do a system restore.

Anyone shed light on why it disappeared, & in the future how can I restore it again?

do a repair for avast from control panel->add\remove program->avast then take repair ;D

1.stupid system optimizer maybe do that
2.fool trojan
3. disabling avast self defense then disable avast tray from running on start up

Thanks! Avast had just found a trojan while I was accessing a website. I had not done any disabling of any of Avast’s features. The system optimizer might be the culprit; I’m running Vista; and have only been running it for a couple of months; so maybe something in Vista did this.

no vista not the devil look some times you do a change in the system and maybe you disable the icon from program settings(maybe i am confused so dont blame me if this settings not found)"i have cold and tomorrow i have a university so please dont blame me :o

No, I had not made any changes, or did I disable the icon. That’s why I’m concerned as to why it disappeared.

NO SOME TIMES IT JUST DISAPPEAR FOR THE UP REASON DONT AFRAID DO A DEEP SCAN AND A SCAN BY CURE IT AND YOU WILL(IF GOD WANT)PROTECTED
