Avast taking long to respond

Hi, i’ve submitted a refund ticket over a week and a half ago because Avast automatically renewed a subscription which i never wanted in the first place and still heard no response from Avast. I was wondering if any Avast employee or admin could take my ticket further and help me get my money back. Thanks.

If you never wanted it in the first place why then did you get it.

Presumably you signed up to a 30 day trial, and you filled in the payment mandate that would have been charged at the end of the trial - unless you ended it and cancelled the payment mandate.

By saying i didn’t mean to get it in the first place i meant renewing the subscription. I already cancelled the subscription and waited for an Avast employee’s response but still didn’t get one. And yes, i did get the free subscription trial but forgot to cancel it. Is there any way that Avast doesn’t respond to my ticket at all? I don’t remember the ticket number tho. Can i somehow find it again?

I honestly don’t know if that is possible - to proceed you would have had to set up the payment mandate.

If you it will trigger when required and for annual renewals (unless cancelled as I mentioned in my last reply). I don’t know how long after renewal it is possible to request a refund.

I don’t know where you sought a refund - Refund request - https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales_refund If you haven’t got the Order ID, etc enter 00000000 and give as much information that you can to help identify it.
