Avast, The bat and signature

Hi All,

I use the avast plugin within my e-mail client The Bat.
Everything works fine but I didn’t find a way to add the avast note:

avast! Antivirus: %TYPE% message clean.
Virus Database (VPS): %VPS%
Tested on: %TIMEDATE%
avast! - copyright (c) 1988-2006 ALWIL Software.
http://www.avast.com
%INBOUND=Inbound%
%OUTBOUND=Outbound%

How can I do this ?

Thanks in advance

Sorry I don’t use the bat so I haven’t got the plug-in to refer to but, I would have thought there would be an option the same as in the Internet Mail provider, since you have found the ‘Format of the notes’ (where you can customise/edit the message text) above it is the check box that you need to tick (see image, example from Internet Mail provider).

Where did you find the ‘Format of the notes’ ?
If not in the bat plugin settings then it doesn’t look like it is an opton.

First of all thanks for your answer,

I was just wondering if this option was available from the Bat plugin but I don’t see where it could be, not a big deal though
Maybe in a future plugin version who knows … (if an avast developer read me :stuck_out_tongue: )

Anyway thanks to the whole team for this great application !

Antivirus plugin in TheBat! can only mark message as infected/clen. It can’t modify message body/headers.
However you can disable avast! plugin in TheBat! and use generic ‘Internet Mail’ instead, then you’ll be able to insert note to incoming/outgoing messages.
