I had a question about the U3 license policy. I currently have an old U3 drive where the trial is over, and I was thinking of purchasing a one year license, but before I do, I had a question.
I have a newer SanDisk U3 drive that isn’t yet Vista compatible (according to SanDisk, my version of the firmware is coming, but not for another one to six months—yes, they aren’t really sure).
If SanDisk releases the Vista compatible firmware which will make my SanDisk drive Vista compatible, is it possible to switch and uninstall the license from my older U3 (another brand which is already Vista compatilble), and place it on the newer SanDisk itself if/when it becomes Vista compatible?
