Avast Ui tray icon not loading after the new update 17.3.2291 build 17.3.3443.0

Well folks I have been using avast for many years now. & now I have an issue… not the first time but the past issue’s were sort of simple to sort out.

Avast premier Ui \ tray icon not loading after the new update 17.3.2291 build 17.3.3443.0
I have removed the program once using windows uninstall, & then again using the avast uninstaller program & then lastly the IObit Uninstaller.
Hence I have tried multiple times now to sort this issue out but no luck so far & it is also a program on my other pc what I use for work etc.

I hear Malwarebytes might have been a past issue but I have removed that too, with no luck…
However I have tried the new update along with a old version of the program using the offline install set up with no luck.

windows 10 Pro fully undated, intel cpu, NVidia gpu PC’s.

What can I try next folks ? I’ve paid for these programs for many years now, & I am getting a bit feed up now of trying to sort out a well known issue :(.

Do u try repair?
Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Sorry yes that was the first thing I did, after reading a few posts in this forum & elsewhere. No luck.

System tray icon loads fine after update to new version on Windows 7.

Perhaps the issue is related to Windows 10 pro only.
