Avast! Virus Definitions not updating?

My Avast! 2014-9-0-2018 version is not updating virus definitions. I am stuck on 140319-0?
My OS is Windows 7 SP1 32bit and I am really frustrated and worried because my avast! is not Up-to-date.
When i click Update virus definitions it says “Already up to date” and my freind has the latest one, 140420…
What is up with that?

I’m running 9.0.2018 and it will not automatically update, it still has an update from 140419-3 but when I manually updated it finally moved to 140420-0. Was my system just slow to update or is not automatically updating?

Do you have avast set to silent gaming mode ?

Nevermind dudes, I installed avast! Free and now it updates automatically. No problem here!
