Avast web browser doesn't download videos on youtube

I have seen this past couple of days like 95% of the videos don’t have a download icon on youtube, for some videos I even tried atube catcher and Torch browser, same result. I am starting to think that youtube is starting to unilaterally block downloads, as if it were their videos and not the creator’s,…

Unfortunately since the last update (rollback) to version 19.8.2393 (build 19.8.4257.549)
The video down loader no longer works.
We’ve already been advised that updates may not happen till Feb.

Okay good to know, so we can expect it to work again in February? Would be nice to get that download option back.
