Avast Web shield blocks apt-get upgrade

Hi,

I’ve been using both avast and virtual box for several months and never had any problems, now when I try to run apt-get upgrade (in Linux) avast web shield blocks the upgrade due to URL:BLacklist, I tried to whitelist VBox in Avasts exceptions but the problem persists.

This is really annoying since I need to use Linux and not being able to upgrade it will make it impossible to use.
What can I do (other than disabling web shield entirely)?
