avast web shield is block website access please help!!!

hi i just download avast and its giving me a problem. the webshield is blocking website access i cant go on any website like facebook, google , youtube ,etc
i have to turn of the webshield then i can go on the sites ;/

did you uninstall your previous used AV before installing avast? do you have a firewall?

and what AV did you use before avast? … did you remove it?
do you have a firewall … if so what?

i had avast b4 then i uninstalled it cuz the internet secruty thing was over and no firewall

try avast repair…

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall > repair option …wait a minute and reboot

any change?

Is there a repair option on Avast for Mac as I cannot connect to Firefox or Safari with Web Shield on? I have tried for 3 days to install and uninstall extensions, checked the the extensions are in the browsers etc. Avast reply about a year after you contact them and then never put any context in a reply so that’s little help and there is nothing of any use on the internet. I have uninstalled and then downloaded a fresh 3 times but it still does not function with the Web shield on.

Does anybody know please?
