Avast Premier version19.6.2283.
I setup an exclusion for an HTTPS mail site. It worked until the customer updated Avast.
Now when trying to access site we receive an inet_E_download_error.
If I disable WebShield, site is immediately accessible.
Removed and re-installed exclusion. Reset Avast to defaults. Nothing worked.
I don’t want to uninstall and re-install Avast unless absolutely necessary.
Did you try to repair Avast and reboot your PC?
If this doesn’t work, you should uninstall and reinstall the antivirus.
