Out of the blue, Avast started blocking a site (guilded.gg) and more specifically it’s content delivery network / CDN (cdn.gilcdn) I tried to add it to the exceptions list and… nothing! avast keeps blocking all connections from it! what’s the deal with this?
Do you see an avast pop-up alert when this happens?

I noticed that when I disable all protections and re-enable it it works for some minutes only to going back randomly blocks connections
Okay I am dumb, I misspelled the URL in the whitelist thing… now it works, sorry 
But still, two things:
- I couldn’t select the URL from the window, preventing me from copy-paste it
- There should be a button to add an URL directly to the whitelist when the block connection window thing happens, would have made this so much simpler and not prone to typing errors…
The thinking is probably that it would be too easy to ignore alerts by quickly whitelisting URL’s.
Yes it is annoying.
Have you submitted the url to Virus Total? https://www.virustotal.com
If clean maybe submit false positve form to Avast: Choose Your Sample Submission Type | Avast
