For those who use premium (paid), what happens if you click “ignore” for the products offered in the notifications tab (bell)?
Avast offers 4 or 5 products (VPN, Antitrack, Driver Updater, cleanup, etc.) in the notifications.
In my case (premium), since I ignored them all, the interface no longer opens, or at least not within a reasonable time frame (about two weeks).
I implemented this solution in June because Avast kept offering me these products even though I had unchecked the boxes related to offers in the settings.
I can see that many of you have been reporting the interface opening unexpectedly since yesterday, but I haven’t had that problem: avast has never opened on its own.
It could also be an OS issue. Is the problem not related to a single OS (W11, for example)?
One last thing: these openings can also be triggered by the “Smart Scan,” which can be scheduled.
Of course, the frequency is not as high as what you are seeing, but if there is a bug with the frequency, you can try setting it to “Run Manually.”
