AVAST with VMware

Hello

I was hoping to use avast on my IMAC. The Mac also has a virtual machine through VMware. I belive I need to exclude the volume that the virtual PC is on. Is this possible?

In System Preferences >> Avast >> Shields >> Filesystem Shield settings you can specify exclusion list of files and/or directories which are not scanned by the filesystem shield.
