Avast won't allow any programs to be open and any remote control.

Can only open in Safe mode. remove AVAST and the machine works fine. Install AVAST again and after 2 - 3 reboots, machine won’t allow any programs or remote control.
Win 7 machine and AVAST Endpoint Protection Plus small office (desktop only) Have several PCs with AVAST installed but only one PC has this issue

On the troubled manchine:

  • Uninstall avast using avastclear
  • Do a fresh installation of avast
  • Reboot 3 times
  • Check if everything is working

if not:

  • Compare settings with a working system. (firewall, av, network settings/permissions, user settings/permissions)
