Avast won't allow me to use Mullvad VPN

I can’t enable Mullvad because Avast won’t let me, I even changed the ruleset to allow it, it worked for a while and the next time I booted, it won’t let me use Mullvad anymore.

It’s ticking me off. I get it you guys want me to use YOUR VPN product, but YOURS is too expensive and I cannot afford it.

You guys need to program Avast to allow Mullvad to work.
