Avast won't delete infected rootkits

GoogleUpdateSetup.exe
Chromerecovery.exe

When I try to delete them, Avast says that it needs to restart the computer with a boot-time scan. I do that and let the boot-time scan run, and when I return to my scan log history, nothing has been chanced about the “infected files.”
