running win 7 avast pro… I go to Scan>scan for networks threats and it seems to work then says “It seems that you are offline
Internet connection is needed to perform network security scan. Please, check your internet connection and try again.” - it just did it just now despite the fact that i am here on the forum connected to the internet…
So it doesn’t work.!
did you just install avast?
any other security programs / firewall installed?
If you just installed Avast, have you rebooted your computer ???

Sounds like you’re blocking AvastUI.exe, allow it in your firewall.
Just had a similar case where windows8firewall was blocking
