Avast won't work

Hi,

Every time I click on “show results” after it says “threat detected”, the button won’t work.

I’m on Win 7.

This has happened several times in the last couple of months, so I know it’s not a “reboot & all will be fine” solution.

It’s also telling me often it can’t read all my files & I never know if it finished or what.

you mean scan all files? .... for whatever reason given

The “thread detected” can be related to a little bug as mentioned in other posts on this webboard.
Please use the search option before posting.

I never know if it finished or what.
Ofcourse it is finished, or you would have gotten a message. You can find more information in the log files.
