We are having trouble with Avast Support in Brazil. We contacted the forum on March 22, 2011 and so far got no resolution of the problems described in the posts:

We have over 1,000 customers using Avast and if problems are not corrected we will have to request a replacement antivirus for the proper functioning of our software.
Below is the original post:
We are a company developing software for photo and since our inception we have had problems with your anti-virus software (because of a protection system that we use them to avoid being hacked), because our customers use it and always have the following issues:
- False Positives: Over time, did not present, but initially said that our Avast executables were infected by worms or Trojans. We changed some things in the software and those complaints have decreased.
- Locks without prompting the User: Constantly Avast blocking software from accessing the internet, create or modify file and also to run them (Applications and Libraries. “Dll”).
- Port Blocking SMTP: One of our software sends e-mail based on the configuration of the email of the person, and Avast is blocking the ports’ SSL / TLS ". As the most used e-mail is Hotmail and it uses port security, then the software gives error report when sending via SMTP.
- Does not allow Configure: Avast Anti-virus does not allow you to configure it to stop interfering in the functioning of our software, so we can not offer our customers a way to use it in conjunction with our software, so we suggest removing and replacing it with one that is not inconsistent.
We would like a position of Avast to solve these problems, because I got in touch with other anti-virus companies and they have added our applications and libraries. “DLL” as an exception to our software that could function normally with their anti-virus . Due to the immense amount of Brazilians who use Avast, we’re really interested in resolving this impasse, because our customers to accept the fact of having to replace the AV of them, but their customers do not accept such an imposition, since the software is of interest Photographers’ and not their customers.
