Avast / Zone Alarm Conflict

Avast Free Antivirus / Premium Security

I am presently looking at removing my expired Norton Internet Security Suite
and replacing it with Avast Home Edition and the free Version of Zonealarm firewall

I understand the two may conflict is this true ?

I am running Windows XP Home Edition

There is no conflict between avast and ZA free edition (the issue is with ZA Pro).

ZONE ALARM - AVAST Web Shield compatibility dialogue - Install/Update Question - YES or NO

If you are using ZoneAlarm Free you should click NO, because privacy features are not present in ZoneAlarm Free this will not turn off web shield transparent mode proxy.
