AVC Free 6.3.0 Being Flagged as a Threat [RESOLVED]

Yesterday I downloaded Any Video Converter Free 6.3.0 from Major Geeks:
https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/any_video_converter.html

This morning I just barely tried to move the Install File from my Downloads folder to my Desktop. I barely clicked on the file when avast threw up a popup message that AVC 6.3.0 was a threat and had blocked it. I guess avast even sent the file to the Virus Chest because I was immediately no longer able to see the file in the Downloads folder.

Attached is an image of the message.

I cannot check it out on Virus Total because it is around close to 60 Meg and that would take 3 hours on my Dial Up. Can someone check to see if it is a false positive? It probably IS. Not too long ago I downloaded AVC 6.2.9 Free from that same source and AVC 6.2.8 before that.

Before y’all ask, the reason I still have avast 12.3.2280 is because that is the last version that works on my Win XP SP3 computer.

Seems it comes bundled with extra crapware … PUP

It’s interesting that the AVC 6.2.9 version that I have right now never triggered avast and neither did the AVC 6.2.8 version before that. Well, I guess I’ll avoid the 6.3.0 version.

Thanks for that check, Pondus.
