New Game Mode automatically adds programs into “Game List” which is considered as game by Avast.
Currently there is no way to stop automatic adding, you can either disable Game Mode or remove added entries.
Open Avast UI
Select “Performance” => Game Mode
(if you want to disable Game Mode) Click upper green switch to “OFF”
(if you want to remove entries) Click a tile → click “REMOVE”
If all goes well, tomorrow avast! will receive a bugfix update which will also address this. It’ll allow you to disable automatic adding of programs to the Game Mode list.
ok, so how do i turn it off? because the only option i can find is to turn it on or off altogether and the same old settings for performance and notifications
when this popped up i didn’t click undo cause i had no idea wth is going on, how to remove it new from the list?, will the patch remove it when it comes out?
i haven’t gotten any patch after update to new ver, only virus database update what is meany times a day, if patch comes it avast would also ask restart like with update
did that & i didn’t see any update windows so i can’t be sure did i get it or not same as before that when i made first post yesterday i just got something that isn’t a game added to the list, i removed it from the list & i haven’t gotten any messages about update/patch so i don’t know
wont be doing pointless restart if i don’t know did i get the patch or not, my restart comes when i shut down pc today later & turn it on again tomorrow & that’s my restart
nothing is fixed, it still adds stuff that aren’t games, so far just that one thing cause i don’t deal with video making of my gameplay so no idea will it do same with this programs, & also that’s a driver, why is a driver added?
but i also have off the topic question, its called vista driver so why did i get it when i have Win 8.1, are Nvidia servers gone nuts that they can’t tell which sys some1 has?
