Since Avast One for Windows can’t backup the Ransomware protected folders, can you please tell me which folder or registry key keeps the list of folders so that I can use to restore?
Better still, where does Avast One for Windows keep all the settings?

Apart from the UI (Explore > Ransomeware Protection > View protected folders) you can find it in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVAST Software\Avast\properties\IDP\Setting\fileprotection.paths

Thank you so much. This Registry value contains the list of ransomware protected folders. Exporting this value and then running it in Windows Safe Mode restored the list of folders.
If I want to save ALL the settings of Avast One to restore in same computer, or transfer the settings to another computer, which Registry key do I save? Do I save and restore HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Avast Software?

It would be better to use the backup and restore feature (Account > Settings > Troubleshooting > “Back up your Avast One settings”
