bad firewall on last upgrade 22dic13

HI All just done the last upgrade this morning 22dic13 and the firewall is DISABLED and nothing helps bringing it back to work.
Any suggestion pls.

Repair avast!:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → avast!
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.
