Everyday I get a notice that avast did something it was supposed to and then I get the I need a new subscription for $1or $2. Each time it winds up 30-$50.. But then wait for it!!! U get told you need yet another one..it doesn’t remember ur email. So if u use multiple emails Be sure to remember which one is the membership log in. They used to always be free.
Avast Free is still free. You don’t have to buy a premium version of additional components if you don’t want to.
Yes, Avast will try to trick you into buying those, but you can decline and just use the basic Avast Free.
I also suggest you run Limited Mode to suppress most of the scaremongering upsell popups.
