Bank Mode BUGS

Dear Avast,
for a long time now we have various problems with Bank Mode.

  1. Each time you connect a USB device, also a simple USB key, even if biggest issues arise when you try to connect to Internet via USB thetering or WI-FI, before or after the start of the Bank Mode depends, almost every time you move in Bank Mode, Avast freezes Windows:
    ⦁ Everything stops running, mouse too
    ⦁ The application bar could flash for several seconds
    ⦁ You may have some mouse vital sign but things become incredibly slow
    ⦁ Often you have to restart the PC, very often
    It seems there are some workarounds that can reduce problems, but they are not always successful.

  2. Whenever you leave the bank mode Avast forgets the pinned app. This is a minor problem, at least for me at this point.

  3. Could you, please, tell us why you pinned notepad.exe and a white space in the bank mode application bar and why can’t they be removed? Just curiosity, thanks.

The Avast Bank mode is unique in the antivirus world, it is different from all the others, it gives you the opportunity to pin and use other programs giving you back security details such as the signature, easy bookmarks management, improving vastly usability, and in different ways.

I think it is quite important to have a safe and no bugs protected payment mode in Avast. It goes about the trust of Avast, just my opinion. Maybe it is my System, but it meets the requirements, and other people had and has same and other issues with apparently no answers.

SOLVED
Dear Avast, sorry to be late.

Before sending any logs I tried to reinstal the whole system, it seems that this solved Bank Mode crashes: internet connection via WI-FI or thethering and generic USB issues when in Bank Mode. I had some System Image Copies but once restored they didn’t solve anything. And it was not due to any software either, rather to some old drivers or some old System updates.

Unfortunately I was not able to directly report the solution to you as the ticket has expired.

I wish to thank the Support, it has been a nice and kind experience, unfortunately the issue was out of hers competence, so I had assigned a ticket.
