Banking mode closes immediately again

Hi there!

Has there been any updates to Avast today? Since about 2 hours ago I’ve been experiencing issues with my Banking mode (same issue as the one from about a month ago, which could be temporarily fixed with setting the browser as default - this trick isn’t working anymore). A computer restart didn’t help.

So, essentially, once opened, banking mode will appear for a second and close on its own. I noticed that I can open pinned apps if I act quickly, before the browser window appears, but the second I open the browser itself, the secure window will close.

Avast version: 22.12.6044 (22.12.7758.769)
Win 7 64bit.
Browser version: 109.0.19817.75 64bit.

Hi,
can you please share szb.log with us? You can find it in the folder C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log.

So… was it possible to decipher anything from the log that would put you or me on the track towards resolving the issue?

I don’t mean to rush you in any way. I can live without the banking mode for a while, though the current situation limits what I can do to a significant degree.

As an Avast user just like you, only Misha could answer this (or one of the Avast developers) or comment.
