hey! everybody today i am going to show how to fix malware on your pc and tune up your computer.RULE 1:do not panic com155 is here…so first malware fixing…make sure that u get these free softwares on your pc:malwarebytes,hitman pro,superantispyware,norton power eraser,stinger removal tool.u can get these free softwares via simply searching in google.If u are unable to do anything on your box u might need rkill to temporarily kill all malware activity.

steps:

1.get the mentioned softwares installed and fully updated if unable to update just run a quick scan and remove any stuff it finds then update them all and perform a full scan via all softwares[note:if update fails do a quick scan only via mbam].

2.remove whatever was found in all the softwares full system scan.

3.restart your pc.

4.if u get errors after restarting do download trend micros hijack this and terminate all malware registry items.warning!!! do not terminate registry items of what u are not sure or if u are not experienced user read some logs carefully.

5.now again restart and check for restrictions that was caused by malware eg:if u get some restriction on looking the properties of my computer.then u just have to go to run and type this:
secedit/configure/cfg%windir%/repair/secsetup.inf/db.secsetup.sdb/verbose
.Then download a free security console from google.For xp computers download from here: www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_securityconsole.htm

6.restart your computer after everything is fixed.malware fixing ends here.[NOTE:under extreme conditions user bootabe rescue disk such as kaspersky and dr.web].

now,time to tune up your pc right lets get started.

steps:

1.download ccleaner and run and clean temp files and other junk stuff.

2.go to run and type in:
msconfig.

3.go to startup option in the msconfig window and just untick all the processes that u dont want the system to start at boot time but dont untick critcal system services and system sound services and also your antivirus if u have one.Only untick unwanted services.

4.whats next? install critical system patches via windows updates and u can also run maintainence software on your computer if they are pre-installed.eg:HP suppport assistant.

5.Get a good antivirus if u dont want to go for paid antivirus go for free antivirus such as avast! which i recommend as the best of all free and paid antivirus.

6.restart your pc.Now u have a perfectly clean and tuned pc.

So,pass this on to all your family members and friends and so lets all get our computers fixed and tuned…so hope this helped people out there.so take care.

First note, HitManPro can seriously screw up your system as has been stated by one of our qualified Malware Removal Specialists.

There already is a topic and you are essentially trying to reinvent the wheel.

Not to mention that the tools that you mention might work against basic malware, they are lost against anything complex. So I have little confidence in them being good enough for a one size fits all solution.

As far as tuning your system, I wouldn’t call that tuning and any tuning can have adverse effects, systems tuned to within an inch of their life, often find that they have gone an inch too far and have a stuffed system.

My advice, if it isn’t broken don’t fix it, if it is broken, seek advice from someone qualified to give it. This advise applies even more so when it comes to malware removal.

hitman pro can catch suspicious files that can be potentially be harmfull but it depends on a user whether he wants to delete them or quarantine them.Speaking about tuning this tuning is to make your computer run faster.I have used these software from years and they seem to remove everything.not to mention i am a experienced user and i fix computers in my society and of my friends for free they never told me that their computers got screwed up.to remove complex malware the proccess will be given by me in next topic.this is just a simple way to remove malware from your pc.i am sorry i forgot to enlist the the steps to remove complex malware in this thread.
Please note,these softwares remove any malware unless u have nasty rootkit on your pc then i will remove it by using combofix,gmer rootkit detector,doctor web rescue disk.these things will be shown in my next topics.

Whilst that may be correct, but it really isn’t a tool to be used by the inexperienced as they are more likely accept everything at face value and allow deletion.

Your suggestions here aren’t going to be run by you but potentially by these inexperienced users.

The same is true of the other topics you are considering, please don’t as the more complex problems really should be used only under guidance.

To be brutally honest, given your very short time on these forums and own previous posts about removing malware in this forum. You are supposedly cleaning a friends computer and then start screaming for help in block capitals, sorry but your previous history in the forums I have doubts.

I know, I saw it, sigh. there really is no advising some people. All we can do is warn people about these dangerous tools that shouldn’t be used without guidance.
