Hello! I have a question. I’m thinking about installing a battery saver, but I’m curious about how it works. I read that it shuts down unnecessary programs to save battery, but does it give you a warning before doing that?

As an Avast Antivirus user (not Avast Battery Saver) I have no idea if there is a trial period.
I will say as a laptop user I have never even considered the use of a battery saver. For the most part I’m using it at home with the laptop powered from the mains, only taking it out periodically not to fully change the battery.
In the windows task manager all tasks are for the most part reported as Very Low, Low or Moderate with the occasional blip to High (this is generally the browser).

So, it saves battery but lowers performance.
