Interesting poll on Broadband Reports of the virus scanners actually used at http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,13625117 . Avast seems to be doing well with about 10% of the users, behind entrenched AVG and Norton at about 20%. Previous poll had avast! down at about 5%, so they seem to have picked up some market share. Don’t forget to let them know you are an avast! user if you are a BBR member.

Was a wrong forum though for that poll in BBR.
Should have been Security forum instead of Software one.

I don’t think Avast users should be so shy to not give their vote for it.
Surprises me that AVG is doing so much better in that poll.
I would choose Antivir over it, if I did not have avast.
So I think sded’s posting came where it belonged. Needs not always be problem’s only written in this forum
