Behavior Shield randomly found to be shut off

I have Avast free and for some reason about maybe once a week I notice the warning icon on the system tray avast icon and find that the Behavior shield has been disabled. I enable it again and am fine for a week or so when it happens again. Any reasons for this or a fix for that as I don’t want anything to slip though if possible. ty in advance

I should have said before that this is on Windows 7

This also occurs with me, the behavior shield appears disabled when the computer starts. When are you going to solve this problem?.

I got this with Avast Free 17.5.2302 runing under Windows 7 (64bit) Ultimate. I had excluded the Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro (version 9.3) program folder from Behaviour Shield. Deleting the exclusion seems to have resulted in Behaviour Shield continuing to run without stopping.

I tested AVG free and this bug did not occur, the problem is only in avast.

For how long did you test AVG ??? It happens only occasionally on Avast free

Whenever I turn on the computer, I have to turn on the shield behavior. In AVG this does not occur.
I use windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

Same behavior happens for me as well on one of my ‘legacy’ machines (Avast v17.5.2302, Windows XP Pro/SP3). I first just thought it was because I was running XP, but cristianojgm is having the same problem while running W7, so XP’s not the cause.

I was confused, I have two machines, one with windows 7 and another with windows xp. The problem really occurs with XP installed.

I have had this problem under XP as well, but it hasn’t happened for a long while.

I hope they fix this bug soon, because there are lay people who do not repair these things and are unprotected.

I am having the same problem even more so. Behavior shield turns off automatically even after I turn it back on from the control settings.
I have the paid Internet Security package and am running Windows 10
