beta: last file scanned

In on access scanner, script blocker now only shows the web site as last file scanned. The count goes up, but the file name doesn’t change. ie browsing this forum, script blocker only displays "http:\forums.avast.com.

This was working properly prior to installing the beta version.

Anyone else?

Me too…

The same is true in the Web Shield last file scanned shows forums.avast.com and not a specific file (firefox browser). Now that has been like that for some time and I’m still using 4.7.844 not the beta.
So I don’t think things have changed in the beta build (can’t say about the script blocker, avast home user), if it is happening in another provider in an earlier build. Perhaps this is because it is the beta you are testing and checking it more and you are paying more attention to it ???

Is it the same in the web shield also (it should be) ?

Any info from the programmers? Vlk? ??? ::slight_smile:

On another site (a game site) web shield seems to update the file name. while script blocker remains the same. Though it will occasionally change, but not as much as the count.

I could have sworn that earlier versions had a more closer relationship between file name and count. But you could be right, I may just be watching something more closely now.

It might just be a clipping issue. What if you hover the mouse over the last scanned file value? Does it show a tooltip with full URL?

For me the web shield tool tip does show the full URL (not beta).

I think it is just that if clipped, instead of seeing a path .…\ like in standard shield (see image) there doesn’t seem to be the same in web shield if it is clipped at the end perhaps it should show forums.avast.com/

Yes… it does…
Seems you’ve done it by design 8)

Might as well make it 2 for 2. I see th same as Tech when hovering over the file name. ;D

Same for web shield.
