Beta is up and running. Btw, any info about pricing yet…? Cheers

Not yet, we are about to test a few variants first and then we will decide about the final price.

OK, thanks Stellarman.

Is Avast Battery Saver will be available for iPhone… Please!!!

Right now, it’s only available for the Windows OS.

Not entirely correct, there’s also a version for Android, but it won’t help/please Speedy either.

That’s an entirely different product.

Dont count on an iPhone/iPad release, apple heavily restricts low level hardware access to apps.

What is it doing by “Reducing frequency of PC syncs”?

Installed on Latitude 7440 and it initially said I was on a desktop, but after a bit it showed up correctly.

Suggestion: under settings - Turn off WiFi with battery saver. I would suggest that this NOT be on by default. Most users assume that if unplugged and mobile that WiFi would be on.

Hi,

first of all, thank you for the feedback!

When it comes to the “Reducing frequency of PC syncs” message we decided to remove it from the UI because it was a misleading information and in fact product does not do anything in that regards, or at least we are not there yet.

The point about the settings is definitely valid and this particular settings shall work in a way that it switches off the WiFi or Bluetooth only in case you are not connected to any network when you turn on Battery Saver (or when it is automatically activated by unplugging your notebook from the power source). But we are still trying to optimize this functionality so if you would encounter any problem or misbehavior, please let us know.

Thank you!
