Big problem with ZEDTV

I cannot use anymore aprogram named zedtv.exe. This is a software that permits to view or record various TV channels. Since two weeks I cannot use it anymore: when I start the program Avast refuses to let it execute. I have trieed several times to tell Avast to let it execute: it is refused. I have tried to change the name of the program with no success! Is there a way to run this software or should I abandon Avast ?

There are two messages: the 1st one says “Windows does not find program C:\Program Files (x86)\ZedTV\zedtv.exe”. Verify that you have entered the correct name then retry."
The 2nd message says :
“The component Avast File Agent has blocked a menace. No other action is required.
Object: C:\Program Files (x86).…\zedtv.exe
Infection: Win32:Malware-gen
Action: Quarantined
Process: C:.…\FreeCommander.exe
The menace has been detected and blocked just before the opening of the file.”
And then the program zedtv.exe is suppressed by Avast !
Of course it is not a malware…

To pondus:
I don’t see Exclusions whan going to the scan menu!
And I am using the latest version of Avast…
How can I exclude a file from Avast ?

they fix detection and no need for exclusion

The support.avast.com site is not clear enough! How can I declare this false detection ?
And is not there a quicker solution 'cos I imagine this way will take months at least ?

;D False detections are usually fixed before 48hours .... sometimes 1hour after reported

Finally I have found how to exclude a file on page http://en.kioskea.net/faq/12294-avast-internet-security-create-an-exclusion.
I have tested: it works fine!
