Hello,
lately, every time I turn on my computer, Avast alerts me, letting me know it has blocked a harmful webpage with the address ttps://blackled.info/3131/indepthmonitor_142240922806154.dll (i removed the “h” so that the link isnt clickable). After installing and running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and adw cleaner the infektion wasnt completely removed.
I’d appreciate any help!
Thanks
Let me know if this stops it
CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer
Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:
CreateRestorePoint: 2014-11-01 23:19 - 2014-11-01 23:19 - 0000000 _____ () C:\Users\Human\AppData\Local\{F56F84AF-E28A-4CE8-B74F-5D44FA7E7B43} EmptyTemp: CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers
Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
When i ran it, windows 8 told me that this wouldn’t work with my computer
Edit: i just reran the programs to send you new logs, maybe i made a mistake in the first place, which i apologize for.
Download the attached fixlist.txt to the same location as FRST and then start FRST and press fix
Ok did what you said and it worked. The problem earlier was that FRST.exe was somehow broken so i re-downloaded it from one of the forums here. Anyway thank you so much for helping me out! (i’ll attach the fixlog in case you need it)
Could you confirm the alerts have now ceased
Yes they have. Thanks

: Keep Java Updated :
WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article
I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)
If you do need to keep Java then download JavaRa
Run the programme and select Remove Java Runtime. Uninstall all versions of Java present
Once done then run it again and select Update Java runtime > Download and install Latest version
