Blue screen after shutting down when scanning

I get a Blue screen after shutting down when scanning. How can I avoid that.

Please upload your minidump(s) here: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/

Edit: And please post the name of the upload here.

Look for the latest minidump in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump or in C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Compress it with ZIP, RAR or 7Zip and give it an original name. Add a text ( use notepad ) with your Forum e-mail and your post URL.

Open Windows Explorer and copy/paste this link:

[Select] ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming

Drag/drop compressed dump file into the right open window. Wait for transmission to conclude.

You can also do it like this:

Start > Run.

Copy/paste

[Select] explorer ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming

Drag dump file into the ftp window.

what are you talking about? I am not technical!! HOW DO YOU DO THAT? What is a minidump?

ask google. ;).

use software like bluescreen view.http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
Or whocrashed.http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

These give a lot more information than the windows minidump.

The Avast Staff deal with that Arnold we don’t have to worry about installing that tool, just give them the dump file to investigate the issue of BSOD most cases this can be a minor bug problem in the Avast software driver not communicating his computer correctly

Thos tools give more information for the avast staff my good speedy friend.
Just trying to help that is all.
But if you wish to go the difficult road then be my guest.

I’m 100% sure they have to same software tool to view the dump file

OK speedy thanks.
