I didn’t restart the computer after deleting mcafee. I installed avast and now I have a blue screen that says memory parity call your software vendor.
Any help out there?

How did you go about removing McAfee and did it uninstall cleanly? If you are unable to log into Windows normally (or even if you can,) go into safe mode with networking and uninstall avast with this utility. Then download and run this utility from McAfee.
Reboot into normal mode and see if the blue screen disappears. If so, reinstall avast.

Also, before using either utility, disconnect from the internet and do not reconnect until avast is installed.
This will prevent infections while no av is active.
