My browser has gone back to Chrome from Avast. How do I transfer the Avast bookmarks to Chrome?
I dont use chrome or avast browser but you could try open chrome on top right click 3 dots go to bookmarks then import bookmarks BUT and its a big but, im sure i read on here avast doesnt show up as a browser in the list.
Do you still have the Avast Secure Browser (ASB) installed ?
I don’t use ASB so I can’t speak from personal experience.

Mr DJ, Thank you for your reply. I had previously done what you suggested but Avast bookmarks were definitely not in the list! I went to ask Avast on their chat line and am still waiting for a reply! You would have thought there was a file containing the bookmarks that could be easily loaded, but maybe too simplistic!

Thats a bummer. Sadly since the merger of two companies the help, tech support, phone lines and even live chat have gone to pot with avast.

when you say your browser had changed from avast to chrome what happened that day. did you have an avast update you installed or do a cleanup of some sorts.
I wonder if a system restore may help to a date befor you noticed the change of browser..
All this is a guess as ive stuck with firefox for many years so never had to go through a issue like this.
Every 6 months i export all my bookmarks to a html file as backup just in case and save it externally.
Hope someone can help further than me.
