After running Avast 5 for the first time, I was informed that I have malware in the boot memory and should schedule a scan on restart. Although the scan found the problem, I don’t seem to have a way of dealing with it as I am unable to indicate one of the options because my keyboard is not working at that point in start-up. I would be grateful for any suggestions.
What is your OS ?
If XP, are you using a USB keyboard ?
